US and European Military Cargo Flights Surge Into Israel Since Gaza War Resumed

Dozens of heavy military cargo flights have landed in Israel since late January, with the US significantly increasing shipments following the collapse of the Gaza ceasefire last month.

Between January 25—when the temporary truce took effect—and April 18, at least 47 military aircraft, including 30 cargo planes, arrived in Israel, data from Flightradar24 reveals. Sixteen of those flights occurred after March 18, when Israel unilaterally resumed its offensive in Gaza.

Notably, some of the flights originated from seven European nations, though the specific countries and nature of their cargo remain undisclosed. The Israeli Broadcasting Authority has characterized the influx as an "unprecedented airlift" of military supplies.

The surge in arms shipments comes amid escalating US-Israeli tensions over Gaza operations, even as Washington continues its robust military support for Israel’s campaign.
